Although it's worked for like a year though! Interestingly I had to unplug it every time I would record as it would cause a loud buzzing sound in the mics unless unplugged...

Yes, I somehow blew up my charger! It smoked a little bit, smelled bad, and doesn't work. I am wondering if anyone has any advice on the best way to charge my batteries. Should I but aother charger through Sony, is there a third party charger out there that would be cheaper, is there a way to make it charge from the USB, any other thoughts?

The issue for me is being able to edit my music in programs such as Cakewalk, Cool Edit Pro, etc. Anyway that news sure is great to hear. I had just about given up on MDR. I'm looking forward to selling this stupid IHP iRiver 120 HD recorder! I've missed MDR, but just can't go back to real time uploading...

They have promised to make this converter??? where have you heard this promise stated? BTW thanks for the hope

But isn't this conversion done in real time? If so one might as well upload the old fashion way?
