While the tourister model is cool and all, I can't spend $400 on just a player... Still gotta buy batteries, decent headphones, microphone, some blanks, a case... I would love the Japanese language ability. But I can just use romaji if i need to. Heck, I still need to order a laptop... So is this model Eurocrippled?

I just ordered an MZ-NH900 and I should get it tomorrow :smile: However, I would love to have the japan edition... Oh well. I'm moving to Japan during mid September, so maybe i'll decide to upgrade or something sometime while i'm there. I swear, if Sharp releases a Hi-MD Auvi player, i'm getting one the second they are released!!! :grin: Still, wish I could get this Japan edition... but I can't wait any longer since i'm leaving soon...

Thanks for the fast reply Kurisu. So the nh-900 comes with a 900 mAh battery but accepts 1400 mAh batteries? I was looking for the nh-10wm battery online but could barely find any mention of it. It's nice to know that I can get a larger capacity one. I could get one of those sony worldwide charging cradles for the battery, and just bypass the ac adapter and charging stand altogether....

This is kind of funny. I just registered so I could ask this same question.(i'm ususally a lurker) So the nh900 can take the sony nh-14wm batteries? While I would love the magnesium body of the nh1 and the cool remote, the lame battery life of the Li-Ion cell doesn't do it fo me... To bad they had to use Li-Ion... Also, as a side note, can one use the rechargeable nimh AA cells that sony manufactures in the "dry-cell" case? Not to get off the subject, but do you think that the nh-900 will be compatible with sony's worldwide ac adapters? I'm going to japan, so i'll need the 100V 60mhz ability of the worldwide adapter. Thanks.
