I have to say that HiMDRenderer is a much better solution than the sony version. However, I have to echo the sentiments about the DMCA worries because I'm afraid HiMDRengerer works TOO well and has the ability to convert some files Sony doesn't want converted.

This is awesome. I just bought my first MD to record interviews after lurking on this board for a couple months and am pleased with the device except of course for the stupid restrictions they placed on the recordings. I have noticed that the conversion tends to repeat the last second or two of my recordings, though. Has anyone else experienced this?
