  1. Well I would hardly use the radio tuner function. My main desire is for recording - and really, ideally, I'd like a record button on the remote that *doesn't require me to hit record on the main unit first.* A record button that would turn the MD on and make it start recording.
  2. Thanks - that is very helpful. I hope I can find the nh900's remote for sale online - can someone inform me of the remote's ID name/number? And hopefully it'll be compatible with my MZ-NH1.
  3. yeah, Sony's logic seems twisted. Come on, us laptop users want *almost* everything to be mobile!
  4. Also, what recorders exist that use standard AC/DC plugs, can upload to a computer, hopefully use the new HiMD disks? Even better, a recorder that can be used with a remote with a record button on the remote?
  5. So that funny connector is the USB pins plus two pins for power/charging? Well anyway, what I really need is some way to recharge it while I am away from home and without the charger base.
  6. Hey all, I have an MZ-NH1 and really need one of two things: A. for the recorder to be able to charge itself through the USB connection, or: B. a cable that, on one end, plugs into the recorder, and on the other end, has a USB connector (for transferring recordings) and a power plug (for recharging). This is preferred. Any ideas? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Drew
  7. I am a happy owner of a MZ-NH1 but am looking for a remote with a record button. I came across the Pass MD-remote on minidisc.org: http://www.minidisc.org/part_Pass_MD-Remote.html but there is no way for me to know if this remote is compatible with my unit. Secondly, the link on this page to the company's website is a broken link. Can anyone redirect me? Or show me another product? Hopefully one nearly as small as the standard remote Sony includes? TIA
