my first question is probably a little silly. I have lost all four of the screws that hold the top covering of my MD player on to the unit. my MD player still works...but I am afraid that something may hurt it when the top isn't fully secured. I don't have a clue where I can find screws that small. Any suggestions? second. I love my MD player (walkman) but I want to be able to listen to my MDs in my car. I don't have an input jack that goes to my CD player, and I don't have a cassette player in my car. So I am looking at a few options. I don't have much money at this time...so I am looking for the cheapest buy. Are there any Net MD players for cars at this time? and if so how much are they? or...are there any MD-to CD player adaptors available? thanks for the help. sammy

On the main SonicStage program page, there is a button that says "transfer" with "Create an ATRAC CD" above it. when I click on "Create an ATRAC CD" to try to change it to NET MD, NET MD isn't there. It is nowhere to be found. My NETMD is hooked up the computer...so i don't understand the problem. I would appreciate any help. thanks.

i am trying to convert the sound files from my voice recorder over to my minidisc...and it goes to 100% and then stops. any ideas on what the deal is?

i own a Sony NETMD MZ-N707 TYPE-R...i have had it for about 3 years...and i must say that it may be the best investment I ever made. I love everything about it...BESIDES THE PROGRAM THAT CAME WITH IT. I am a college student and like to tape my lectures (yaeh I am pretty nerdy) and listen to them while I am at work. I own a Sony IC Recorder ICD-P28 to do my recordings. OPENMG will not let me convert into ATRAC3!!! I just downloaded REAL and got the NETMD plugin...but I don't really know how to use that program. Is there a way to compress the files on REAL...because I know that REAL would let me transfer the recordings to my NETMD...but not in a compressed file. each one of my lectures are 1 hour and 15 minutes...and I want to be able to get more than one lecture per disc. ARE THERE OTHER PROGRAMS THAT WOULD WORK BETTER FOR ME? BTW...just if anybody wanted to know...my recorder saves files in the format of... DVF, MSV, and WAV I would appreciate it if anyone could give me some help. I love the site...I haven't had a chance to look around much...but it looks great!
