does anyone know if there is a nero plugin that will bypass having to convert hi-MD files to .wav for burning with nero? There's a plugin for Ogg and FLAC and loads of other types of file, surely there must be one for hi-MD (omg ? files). thanks!

so you're saying that if i select Audio CD in Nero and select the MP3s it will make them CD playable when the CD player doesn't read MP3s?!

any suggestions for an easy way to convert MP3 to wav for playing in standard CD players. Obviously there are lots of freeware out there but any safe suggestions would be great. thanks!

Have installed SS 2.0 via the bundled CD. Is there a way to upgrade to 2.3 automatically WITHOUT visiting the connect website and registering etc etc. Is there an upgrade facility somewhere from the installation disk?

dropped my NH700 from my lap onto the brick drive getting out of the car - ouch, i was worried, but all been fine since... pheww

how stupid am i?! i was recording with the battery and not the mains and it stopped after 4.5 hrs!! Tried again with the mains, and sorted - 36 hrs of recording - hoorah! thanks everyone for your help and concern except mrsoul

BTW there wasn't a power cut (!), the disc was full at 4.5 hrs!

Before I began a line recording to a 1gb disc in hi-MD LP mode, i checked the recording time left and the machine said 36 hrs. I began recording but it stopped at 4.5 hrs. Am i missing something here? thanks!

how do i remove the clamp filters? there doesn't seem to be a clip to undo unless i'm missing a trick.
