  1. Does anyone know of a method or good freeware package that will kick up the volume (i.e. normalization) of .WAV files? I know I could convert them to .MP3 and use MP3Gain - but I was wondering if there was a way to do it to the .WAV files? I wish Sonic Stage had the ability to normalize selective inputs. When ripping a series of CD's - there are certain CD's that are just produced at an overall lower volume... thanks in advance! mudshark
  2. Personally, I found the G750 (original one) to be FAR superior to picking up AM stations... wished they had stayed with that
  3. 1. I just purchased an MZ-NHF800  2. I am using the CD->MD "easy" software (provide w/ the recorder) 3. When I record in HI-LP - two things are happening  a. In the middle of a song - there is about 2 seconds of loud static sounds similar to the noise one would hear when tuning a radio this doesn't happen on all songs - but does rather frequently b. there is an intermittent "clicking" sound. I would compare it to listening to a record album with a scratch in it - ever time the needle encounters the scratch - there is a pop... 4. Has anyone else ever had either one of things occur? 5. When I record in HI-SP it doesn't happen - however, I want to record in HI-LP in order to take advantage of the size... I appreciate in advance if someone would take the time to give this some thought and I apologize if this has already been discussed somewhere.... also - when I record in HI-LP from Sonic Stage (i.e. CD-> harddrive -> MD) I don't have this problem... Thanks
