That fix is not for the Service Pack 2 Windows XP. I hate this behavior of Sony, man ... it's unbelibable. Kintaro, i have the same problem, and i have the solution. Backup your major files and docs, then format the PC and install a fresh windows, next make some updates but not that crazy one (i don't remember the name), try the sonic stage, it works for me. But if you install the SP2 the sonic stage stops working that for sure. The decision is yours. I prefer more safety on my PC. Those bastards of Sony shoud had done the homework, before this shit.

I have it the same problem, but i found the solution. The solution is iPod. So many things just to record a few musics to an MD ? Change this, change that, do this , do that .... Helloooo we are the consumers. lol

Hi to all. I have a Sony MZ-N510 and i have the same problem. I just can record 4 seconds on almost my musics. What starts this problem ? Tkx for all support.
