Hey, all, Until two days ago, I was using SonicStage 2.3 and my NH600, and while everything didn't work perfectly, it at least worked sometimes. If I made sure to launch SS 2.3 immediately after starting up and wiggled the USB cord, I could get my MD recognized by SonicStage and move songs back and forth. But if I tried to launch after using the machine for a while, I'd get a BSOD, and have to reboot. So I sez to myself, I sez, "Hey, let's see if there's been an update to the software..." And there was. So I upgraded. And now SS won't recognize the minidisc player, and 95% of the time, it crashes within 30 seconds. SO...if I can get the damn software up and running long enough to backup my library, would it be possible to then uninstall per the directions I found in the FAQ here, and then reinstall 2.3 again and pretend that my "upgrade" never happened? I need to burn a few albums I downloaded from Connect to CD so that I can have them when I throw my MD in the river and buy an iPod. I am sick to death of this crap. But seriously...can I uninstall 3.2 and go back down to 2.3? Thanks!

Got my 600D last night (gorgeous little thing), and I'm here to report that my remote MOSTLY works. It functions just like it did with the N707, except it won't PLAY. I can skip forward, back, stop, pause...but I have to hit the play button on the unit itself. If I were to snoop around eBay for one of those remotes that has AM/FM built in, would I get the radio functions on this unit? Since they're in the remote, I imagine so, but I thought I'd ask, if it's not too much of a threadjack.

Just to double check, is this: http://www.minidisc.org/images/sony_mzn707_blue.jpg the RM-MZ4R? I think it is; I have one leftover from the MZN707 that my kid just smashed. If so, I'm totally buying one of those inexpensive MZNH600D's that're all over eBay. Just want to be sure. Thanks in advance if anyone feels like answering.

Hey, all... My adorable 3-year old finally put my MZ-N707 out of commission (dropped it and now the headphone jack doesn't work). Looks like getting it fixed would cost a stupid amount of money, so I'm looking for any used unit that's NetMD and has a microphone input (I'm a performer and record my shows). I don't want to spend tons of dough because I'm saving up for a new Hi-MD unit, but in the meantime, I'm starting to have withdrawal! I need my music in the morning! Thanks in advance if you've got anything for me!
