I was going to do that for my Sony F828 digital camera but I wonder how you do eth icon as it's not a picture file... but anyway THANKS AGAIN it looks so great to see my NH1 on the computer screen when I connect both together =)

I thought that connected to your computer, this device couldn't be used as a player/recorder...and it works only with Hi-MD devices...so if that's the case, what's the use of that icon as it will never show up? btw thanks for this great idea, it looks cool to see my MZ-NH1 on the screen once I connect the Hi-MD to the PC

btw, Microsoft supports only the HD-DVD DISC media to add its VIDEO+AUDIO OWN codec and doesn't support the HD-DVD designed by the DVD forum (Microsoft codec is one of the different codec option the DVD forum can pick to be used as standard for the future HD-DVD...that is the only reason why they back it up. Right now some DVD encoded in HD are available in Europe with Microsoft codec..so if DVD forum pick it microsoft will get al the money and will try to put its own audio codec to get rid off the Dolby codec from HD-DVD too etc..

WHat's important for BRD is not the manufacturer that do players but the movie company that wil produce those disc..what's the point to produce HD-DVD player when you can't find movie on HD-DVD, and right now most of Hollywood studios have signed for BRD (it was smart from Sony to sell BRD & UMD rights as a package...).

I am very satisfied with my MZ-NH1, I rather have some new features on Software and especially SimpleBurner, like having the SP option for MD disc and all codec available for HiMD like why all bitrates and atrac3/Atrac3+ are available to download from SonicStage but only Hi-SP and Hi-LP are available for SimpleBurner with Hi-MD disc, just a though coz all I care is PCM and SP hehe so the big break is to finally have SP download for me

no needs to go that far...it's available in all FNAC in FRANCE ( FNAC is the French equivalent of best buy in France)

Hello, most of you that don't have the craddle with the US/Europeen RH10 are asking if they can get the craddle separetly.. I've noticed that the Europeen RH10 doesn't have the "hole" at its bottom to charge it so it can't "sit" on his craddle...so even you can get the craddle..you still can't use it with those units

well something weird happenned to me recently, I changed Hi-MD disc and my portable NH1 kept in memory the toc of the hi-MD disc I ejected, all tracks name was from the HI-MD I ejected...but couldn't read the new one I inserted.

That methods works perfectly, I managed to transfert Kanji and Kana characters that are well displayed on the remote of my NH1 BUT I notice that since that "modification" I can't edit anymore the title of any songs transfered by SimpleBurner or edit by SonicStage using the unit (well by the remote)

where were you when people that has the RH10 claimed 2nd HiMD can do legacy MD disc (through SonicStage only)? by the way, people who posts in here should have one hehe

I understand the disturbance but honestly who still enter title name directly on the unit? I found funny that more people complain about that issue of titling than not being able to record in "legacy MD format "as you called it. Most of people who has their brand new RH10 back up that issue of the "legacy format" by using SonicStage then do the same with the titling thingy LOL which is btw WAY MORE easy. ps: well the problem of old MD mode is still not really solved by this way but it's an other topic...
