For an once-a-lifetime event, I bought a brand new Sony MZ-NH1 for live recording. The accessories were: Sony ECM719 microphone, Sony 74 min. standard disc. Tested everything before the event, all worked fine. During the event, I selected PCM mode for best sound quality. The red LED flashed as normal. After finished the recording, MZ-NH1 displayes "no track". I retested everythings, all work fine. God! 1) Does the recorder have intermittent problems? 2) What is the normal operation procedure for a live recording other than that the Sony manual says? Did I miss somethings? 3) Is (was) there anything ever recorded on the disc? If so, how can I verify it? 4) Is there any way I can recover the data? Help!!!
