Know where I can download the all the install files for this? I'm thinking that my only options are a system restore or a dual boot PC (I've got too much stuff to be bothered with reinstalling everything) and if that doesn't work I'm basically stuck with a useless piece of metal and plastic - cheers Sony!!!! Why did they have to force us to use this piece of sh*t software in the first place??????

I've recently started getting the following error when I try and use Sonic Stage 2.0 to transfer files onto MDs. I get the same message whether I'm using a brand new Sony disc or one with files already on there: "Cannot use this disc as an audio disc because it's been initialized by other than sonic stage. Click device/media button and initialize the disc." This message appears where you would normally got you track list in the MD side of the Transfer screen. I've tried initializing discs in sonic stage (bear in mind that this process wipes any songs already on the disc) and it just doesn't work. I've deleted all the software, files and all registy keys I could find and tried reinstalling but I keep gettin the same problem. This PC is not connected to the internet so I can't do an online upgrade to 2.3. All the discs I have tried work fine in my PC at work. Plese help, it's driving me mad!!!!!!!!!!

I have SSv2.3 at work, and SSv2.0 at home due to lack of internet at home. Any disks I have edited on v2.3 just can't be accessed by v2 - instead of a contents lists in the transfer screen I get a sonic stage access error message. I can access this disks fine on v2.3 at work. Is this a known issue? Does anyone know the location of offline v2.3 install files? Cheers Chris

I need to move the libray location in Sonic Stage but can't work out how to do it. Under "options" I've changed the location but this appears to be only for new stuff, nothing that's already on my machine. Is it possible to sort this? Cheers

Have been using mainly wavs ripped from CD, then stored on my PC (well storage is so cheap now why not??). Does the software that does the direct transfers from CD to MD need to be registered on the net before it can be used? I'm sure I've tried using it but couldn't get very far as I don't have my music/studio PC on the net and couldn't register it. Thanks for the quick answer b.t.w. Cheers.

My MZN900 clicks and pauses briefly when one track ends and the other begins. This is really annoying (e.g. when listening to dance mixes etc). Is there anyway of stopping this from happening other combining all tracks into a single track on my PC? Cheers Chris

Can I Backup my MDs to another PC using Sonic Stage, and actually be able to listen to the music and transfer to another MD if I want??

Sonic Stage 2.3 on my PC at work wont let me transfer files from the MD onto the computer, saying that this is not the original source PC. Is there any way round this as sometime it's handy to edit my MDs when I'm at work, and for backups etc. Thanks for your help. Chris
