Will the new SonicStage work with the Network Walkman (NW-HD3)? I read somewhere that the SonicStage that came with this MD player was specialised just for this unit.

It seems that the verdict would lean in favor of LP2, out of those two choices. Seems odd that the "new technology" did not win out. I think that Sony just tried to make Hi-LP just too small of a stamp not to win out in the size/quality race. They should've made Hi-LP at least 96kb, or 128 to have beaten out LP2. Too bad.

Any improvements to the interface? There are lots of improvements that should be done in that area.

I'm sure this has been discussed before, but I've done some searches and can't quite get a diffinitive answer. If your only choice in recording was LP2 (132kb) or HI-LP plus (64kb), which one would you choose, and why?

I looked through a lot of talk about how to download version 3.1 and all the troubles people were having, but I never saw anything that said WHY one would even want this new version, other than the fact that it's new.

Oh... not the answer I wanted, but I guess it's the answer I'm gonna have to live with. I'll have to make sure I have 20 gig on my computer free in order to load this new toy up.

So... there is no update to Simple Burner which will communicate wiht the HD3? I'm stuck with filling up my hard drive with music files?

Is the only way to get music onto my brand new HD3 (20 gig Network Walkman) is through SonicStage? I have had other MD players that let you use either SonicStage or Simple Burner, but when I tried plugging in my brand new HD3, and brought up Simple Burner, it didn't "see" the device. It's really gonna bum me out if I can't use Simple Burner, because that will mean I'll have to load my CD's first onto my hard drive before I can then burn it to this new device. HELP!

Anyone figure out how to make the hinge tighter on their NH600D. Mine wants to open up just at a slight touch on the door.
