Hi I've just downloaded 3.4 and installed it (thus losing the earlier version, which worked). However when I try to run it it almost immediately tells me "cannot locate needed files related to windows media - error 0000e22" I've tried redownloading and reinstalling 3.4 but no luck - at one point during installation a request came up to insert disc 1 for for a .txt file running XP (2002) service pack 1 any assistance much appreciated Thanks Bill

Hi Contemplating moving up from my trusty budget Sharp model to hiMD... I do a lot of live microphone recording and welcome the idea of direct uploads but am scared of losing my original (and don't want to get into digital soundcards). as I understand it from the very helpful FAQ, if I'm happy to upload in real time with total recorder I can in one swoop- provided Sonic Stage is opened up too- load my recording safely onto the hard drive and output it as a wav file from any quality HiMD format, without another wav conversion program? And this will be a lossless digital transfer? And because its real time there won't be any issues with the original self destructing if I do it several times! (an idiotic feature!!) I assume it's still not possible to upload old style SP LP etc via USB using this approach. just making sure before I take the plunge... many thanks Bill
