First of all, I have installed Sonicstage v2.3 (I wasn't even able to install the v2.1 that came with my NHF800), and I used it once and found that it screwed something up slightly. I transfered a two minute piece of music and it took the first one second of the song and separated it into another track. Weird, huh?!? Anyway, I used the Wav Conversion tool and converted both files to .wav. Well, the 1 second that was turned into its own track isn't recognized as a .wav when I try to burn with Nero. I am still a bit too scared of trying to transfer the actual 2 hour show I recorded recently for fear of something screwing up. I transfered from the headphone jack on the minidisc to the line-in on my soundcard and just recorded with Nero (the whole two hour show in real-time). Anyway, it was a disaster!! The show is CHOCK-FULL of pops, crackle and tons of hiss. I tried cleaning up the recording with Nero and Audacity, but to no avail. The original source is perfect, so it's obviously the transfer. I am wondering what it is that caused the pops/crackle/hiss on the transfer. Can anyone help? säki
