  1. OK, I recorded my first show last month and it turned out OK, the only problem was that I could not change the REC volume during the concert, even though the instruction manual says I can. I've tried it multiple times now and it seems that all I can do is set the regular volume initially using the dial before I push record. Am I doing something wrong? I don't think so, cause the manual is quite clear on what to do...I do it and it simply gives me a message that says "CANNOT SET". Any help is appreciated, cause tonight I am going to record another show. säki
  2. Well, the only program I bothered to turn off was MSN messenger. I didn't think to stop Norton or the other programs.. The soundcard is just standard junk... The cord is new, so that shouldn't be the problem... As for a loose jack, I'll have to check... Thanks for the reply!!! säki
  3. First of all, I have installed Sonicstage v2.3 (I wasn't even able to install the v2.1 that came with my NHF800), and I used it once and found that it screwed something up slightly. I transfered a two minute piece of music and it took the first one second of the song and separated it into another track. Weird, huh?!? Anyway, I used the Wav Conversion tool and converted both files to .wav. Well, the 1 second that was turned into its own track isn't recognized as a .wav when I try to burn with Nero. I am still a bit too scared of trying to transfer the actual 2 hour show I recorded recently for fear of something screwing up. I transfered from the headphone jack on the minidisc to the line-in on my soundcard and just recorded with Nero (the whole two hour show in real-time). Anyway, it was a disaster!! The show is CHOCK-FULL of pops, crackle and tons of hiss. I tried cleaning up the recording with Nero and Audacity, but to no avail. The original source is perfect, so it's obviously the transfer. I am wondering what it is that caused the pops/crackle/hiss on the transfer. Can anyone help? säki
  4. OK, I've just followed your advice and I hope it will work for me. I just installed Sonic Stage 2.3. The v2.1 that came with my mini-disc would not even install at all, it would just stop halfway during the process. Anyway, I did a test with a disc and it uploaded the file just fine. The only thing is, where do I get Wav Converter? säki
