I have the MZ-NH600D player that recently came back from the Sony repair Depot. I discovered a sony rechargeable battery in the player (NH-7WMAA). Since my player won't recharge it via the USB cable, is there another way to charge it? I have a recharger for my Energizer batteries that I use, would I blow anything up if i stuck the sony battery in there? The sony battery is a 1.2V 700mAh, while the energizer batteries are 1.2 V 2500mAh.

I am the proud owner of a MZ-NH600D model minidisc player for the past two years. Recently I’ve noticed that the jog dial will only work if you press down hard on it. According to the website at Sony I have the option to have it repaired for $100, or to have it “exchanged” for $124. My question is what should I do? If I take the exchange option, is there a better model to request? Amazon is selling “refurbished” models for $100. Any intel on those? Are they worth it?

I have the latest SonicStage, and I wanted to know what is a suggested way to handle multiple artists. I want to make a couple of minidiscs that are just a few hundred favorite songs, and I don’t want to put them in any folders on the disc. But Sonicstage tries to put each artist in it’s own separate folder. Is there a way to just dump all tracks onto the disc without putting them in folders? I tried to give all the songs the same “CD Title” but that didn’t work. If there is a FAQ for this please send me that way. Thanks!

I have my library stored on my desktop at home, and I want to copy it over to my notebook. Because I don't have enough room on the hard drive on the laptop, I want to know if I copy all of the altrac files the sonicstage program created onto 2-3 DVD's, will Sonicstage be able to read from the dvd's, or does it demand the library be on the hard drive somewhere? If there is a FAQ for this topic, please accept my apoligies and give me the URL! Thanks..
