where is no problem. you don't need the lineout after hacking. the RH10 is now loud enough. lineout is only a mode, to bring the MD in the "loudest" position without any EQ (btw.!) this can be done by ourself!

after I recive my RH10 (euro) Iam written a badly e-mail to our sony support in germany - where I ask about this silly things! they give me (a week later) the answer, those things are only "EU-Norms" so sony can't infiltrate those Laws! in this way I belive this... the EU have even more stupid laws!

Thanks for your beeing a helping hand... but.. I switch the hold buttom - hold down "menue" FF FF RW RW FW RW FW RW - Pause key (the Jogwheel?) 2 times - by holding down the menue I press vol + - I do this fast and slow... maybe 20 times. - nothing happend! at the display you can only read "Hold" what I do wrong? Yes, I have a real (fxxxing) RH10 Euro Model.

did this work on a european RH10??? I try this on my Euro-Model but nothing happend! I can't see any service mode... Please give me an hint! maybe I missunderstand this message? did you realy get into the service mode at the RH10?

did you knew anything about killing the limitations from the volume? we have in germany only 2.5 mw at the RH10... the old servicemode don't work at the 2 generation. may "you" help us with the rigth code? greetz minidiscforum.de

Oh Dear... today one of the first RH10 has arrived germany. naturally it's an european model. it's black, looks smart but... ...may you can't belive this - he comes without any posibillities to change the equalizer. he has only 2.8mw! and no lineout !. so I hope for an fast "hack" - to fix this and give me back what I pay for. it is unbelievable! don't buy an european model! - try to get an japanese or non-europ. model, without any restrictions. O.K. it play my MP3 without any DRM shit - from the Attrac Container. but this is not all... even the remote is absolute simple... like the remote from one of the first MD models. no backlight - no LCD. only start and stop. grrrrrrrr. why did SONY belive, that we do not need a normal remote or eqalizer? please help the old-europeans to crack this thing - as fast as possible...! greetz from Berlin http://www.minidiscforum.de

I have more than one btw: "TRKIDX04.HMA" and "TRKIDX05.HMA" and so on... at my hi-MD that gives me an error in the Himd_idx.exe ... is where any fix/tip outside?
