  1. Fernando here (under a different alias this time). Sorry about not been clear to Kurisu and others, but yes, Kurisu is correct. For non-Sony NetMD users, you must install only the NetMD driver for the unit and not the entire OpenMG software. For Sharp NetMD the driver is called NETMDSHA.DLL Sony users DO NOT have to go through this process. Their copy of SS3 should be enough to get things working, but I found out that you MUST have the latest version of MDAC (2.7 or 2.8?) to run it under WinXP. You do not really need WINXP SP2 or even SP1 to get it to work, although SP2 does come with the latest version of MDAC. The reason behind MDAC is that SS3 (or even OpenMG) use an encrypted MS Access database (MDB) which requires the Jet4 ODBC drivers. The Jet database drivers only come with MDAC. I hope this helps.
  2. So you're saying that with these modules, I can setup SS3 entirely like as if I was running the installer on its own? This is assuming you're a SONY user (yes i know... most of the members are!), but for Sharp NetMD users like me, I think we need more modules... Sharp NetMD driver for one. Thanks though! Great find.
  3. SOLD via eBay. Thanks for the interest everyone.
  4. Don't waste your time dealing with Darrin. He is a person with serious issues and is not one to commit to a sale, even after asking questions, quoting price and postage, etc. As a seller, we have the right to demand a buyer PAY UP for an item that they were willing to buy. Sorry, but people that ask how much, what postage, this and that and are keen on the item, should proceed to pay for that item. In Darrin's case he misled me and was left at the last minute to sell my item elsewhere. BIG TIME WASTER. Stay away.
  5. Yes. I am in Australia (EAST).
  6. I am sorry no. My webcam digicam is dead. I am saving for a proper digicam soon. The pictures in the Equipment browser in www.minidisc.org are exactly the same as to what I have - minus the cradle, headphones, remote, etc.
