Ok, been a while since ive been on but i just thought I'd update all the fine people here at The Minidisc Forum!! I have been doing the account for almost 2 weeks and I have already been as far as new brunswick CA.. I am getting pertty good miles and undecking trucks ain't too bad.. I also like the idea of riding back on the airplane!! I'll keep everyone posted!!

you have to be VERY careful going around curves as they are top heavy..

unfortunately, it does not have a mike or a mike jack.. it copies from the radio, tape, or cd, and the CD is direct to digital..

thank you for cleaning it up.. it put it 2many times... no it does not do HIMD.. I got it in may of 2000. but it does have GREAT sound

Ok, I made it thru orientation and did great.. I aced the driving test (backing a swift truck into a hole) haha . I am going down to Dublin VA on Monday to learn how to deck and undeck the new Volvo trucks. I am home now spending time with my wife, but Im still looking forward to getting back on the road and making $$. Just wanted to update everyone.. I was wondering what other BOOMBOX models were available, as I was looking for one with MDLP. I dont even know if they still make MD boomboxes,, I absoultely LOVE mine, I got it back in may 2000 and the sound quality is unbeatable.

I cleaned my MZ R700 and it works much better.. One problem might be with the magnet as a MD is a Magneto-optical disc and a magnet is used to erase the disc. the Laser Reads..

I have a few prerecorded MDs. I wish they made more, IMO, MDs are far more practical than CDs

an Over the road trucker runs all 48 states and Canada.. I just started a new job as a matter of fact with Swift Transport on their Volvo Account which means I'll be picking up brand new Volvo Trucks at the factory and delivering them to dealerships.. I am new here, (actually today is my first post) I just want to say HI to everyone.. My name is Andrew and I am an Over the Road trucker, I am a BIG sony digital camera user and photographer.. I also have fun with the minidisc technology.. I have a Sony MZ r700 portable unit and a MD PH100 Fisher boombox with a minidisc recorder a neat unit with great sound.. I am 28 years old and live in VA,, Now you know a little about me and I hope to stick around here for a long time..

I have a mzr700 and I record with the mike.. the only prob, the recording is very clear but there is an emphasis on the low frequency sounds even in a quiet room.. is there any way to adjust the bass and treble in recording?? I just use a cheap sony mic that came with a tape recorder...
