bad news as always from sony. info on fcc now mentions date available 05/06/2009 for external photos, schematics, internal photos and manual, so it looks like the may 10th date seems to be legit. if things go like this and sony retains the prices at 299 and 399, then I might opt for a cowon.

the NWZA829B here in canada has it built in and even if I bought the player, for capacity only, I wouldn't even use the bluetooth option, since it is just re-encoding lossy music, and this results in more loss of quality. So bluetooth is overrated. besides the bluetooth adapter that plugs in via the WM port will work on the X series but I don't think many people wanted bluetooth, otherwise it would be offered.

don't think the foot would be made out of cheese anyways, maybe we need to sacrifice something to the audio gods?

have hope everyone, I do, the W series was supposed to be released in april in canada, and date of arrival is slated for march 27th in canada, so I have hope for an earlier release for the x series.
