Yes it is possible. I do it all the time with great results. If your mics has can handle phantom power you can get a battery powered phantom power box and will get even better results. It's always better to use phantom power than the battery> Van

Has anyone built and recordered with a jecklin disc with a Hi-MD? I'm going to attempt to build one this weekend and was wondering if anyone else has done this. Thanks
