Thanks. Yes I found it at last. New MDAC and totaly uninstall then reinstall did it. It works BUT I'm returning my Sony NWE407 because it has several things that I'm not pleased with. That I need SS to install and remove music files. And that I need a computer to charge the battery.

Thanks again BUT where is the FAQ:s. This section in called Software discussion/FAQ. I've read about the whole uninstall procedure but I can't find the FAQ.

First I had problem starting my SS3.1 Then I installed new MDAC and now it's starting but when I try to Import a CD I get this: An error has occured while preparing to import a CD. Please try again. Well Sony, just trying again won't do the trick.

Yes, I thought I tried harder But sometimes one thread leads to another problem. All all can say is. God thank you. A new MDAC was all that I needed. It's up and running. Thanks again.

I've search but I didn't find any solutions. I did find a topic about it but you replied that the person should read the forum rules first, before posting. Can you help? Do you know any other good software that transform my CD to mp3 or wma ( I have a Sony Network walkman NWE407.)
