  1. The full installer link above is the official version from Sony. I think the last version of the Simple Burner was version 2 its here... http://forums.minidisc.org/downloads/details.php?file=93 There is a tutorial on simple burner here http://esupport.sony.com/US/perl/tutorial-...780d1e0e03a1d4d If you are using vista this site http://esupport.sony.com/CA/perl/news-item...amp;news_id=176 says that simple burner is not compatible.
  2. The full installer for 4.3 is here http://sonicstage.connect.com/SS-US.zip There is also a discussion about full installers here http://forums.minidisc.org/index.php?showt...=full+installer
  3. I have finished the installer. Details are on my website. http://www.thshdwknws.net Thanks!
  4. I'm finished with the installer as I outlined in my last post! I'm going to wait to release it though until I update it with your suggestions. Thanks for the help, awesome suggestions! As for "9. Copies some updated image files that I created to remove the Connect branding." I have removed the [MenuService], [EMDCommon], [EMD0], [EMD1], and [EMD2] from the ini file. But I'm keeping the image files in there as I wanted to change the startup screen, I've see that same old startup screen for years, its time for a change
  5. I'm using the full installer but if the US version is installed it will patch the install with the updated files. So this is the route I'm taking with the installer. The installer does the following: 1. Installs Msc from 4.3 2. Installs the SetupReg from 4.3 3. Installs OpenMG from 4.4 4. Installs SonicStage 4.3 5. Installs SonicStage 4.3 Addon 6. Installs the Security Update 7. runs the 4.3.02.14200 installer, which detects you have 4.3 installed and patches. 8. installs the pa driver from version 4.4 9. Copies some updated image files that I created to remove the Connect branding. 10. Runs the PxEngine. I'm using inno setup to put it all together.
  6. I'm working on an installer that patches SonicStage to version 4.3.02.14200. With this patch I have been able to run SonicStage on two different installs of Win7 RC1. The Release notes for this patch which was released in Japan for version 4.3 says: "Vista in SonicStage was not to a privilege escalation dialog was displayed at startup." (translation from google). This installer includes the OpenMG Secure Module v5 and the most recent PxEngine. I should be done testing sometime today or tomorrow and will have the download available on my website.
  7. I found some more skins here http://www.evolbird.com/material/sonicstage_skin.html not as cool as the ones from the sony site though.
  8. They are OMA's that were created with Sonic Stage 3.1, I have not tried any others!
  9. For Tag editing I use The Godfather http://users.otenet.gr/~jtcliper/tgf/ i thnk it only works with MP3's though
  10. Have you ever noticed that sonic stage can take anywhere from 75 to 100% cpu usage when playing OMA files? I just discovered that Media Player Classic can play OMA files at 1-5% cpu usage check it out here http://sourceforge.net/project/showfiles.p...ackage_id=84358
  11. I have just discovered that this conversion tool only converts to the Atrac3plus format. This format is only good to me if I have a Hi-MD which I don't. Does anyone know if there is a batch converter like this but does Atrac3 @ 105? Thanks
  12. To fix this issue open regedit and go to this key HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Sony Corporation\SonicStage Shared Library in the right hand pane there is a Version key. Right click on version and click on modify replace the version with something greater than 2.1 I used 2.1.5.02.08220 Close regedit and run the conversion tool! Enjoy!
