DJ Maedrik

I have an MZ-NHF800, and was wondering if I hacked it to US region, would my radio remote tune in to the TV and weather band stations now? I ask this because the Canadian 800 only receives AM/FM, but the US version gets AM/FM/TV/Weather. I'll probably just try it on my own, but I thought I might as well throw this out there. Edit -- Nevermind... I tried it, and no such luck. I can still only get AM and FM.
