Hi. I just thought I would add my two cents worth to this. I bought the A3000 about 2 months ago (and have had no problems at all, Connect player included). My player did, however, come with a nice little option under 'settings' in the home menu, called AVLS, which lets you limit or unlimit the volume without all the business of the hack. Maybe this is just a British thing, or maybe it is installed on the newer players, I'm not sure. I sure was pleased about it though!!
