i've been having trouble erasing my MDs (cuz i couldn't get hold of a non MDLP minidisc to erase the disc, don't know if that will work still havn't tried yet. the thought of actually going into a store and asking the sales clerk to use their's just to "try-it-out" did cross my mind.) but thanx to leorick's method i got them to erase at first i was in doubt of trying it, since i know nothing of service mode etc., incase anything were to happen to the MD N1 itself i'd be crying , but i took the chance and, let's just say, have never been so happy to see the words "BLANK DISC" being displayed on the LCD screen.
