  1. Hi, Today, when I connected my MZ-RH1 to my WinXP laptop in order to record to a Hi-MD disc, SonicStage came up with the following message: "Cannot use this disc as an audio disc because it was initialized by a program other than SonicStage. Click Properties on the Device/Media panel and initialize the disc to use it as an audio disc." The last time I used this Hi-MD disc was actually in SonicStage on the same machine, and it worked OK. I have added songs and albums to the disc now and then over a longer period. I have also tried to play the disc on my Onkyo MD-133 but gets the error message "Cannot read". Can it be a mechanical fault on the disc or cartridge, or is it a formatting error ? Has anybody experienced this problem ? Does anybody know how to get around this without losing the data/music on the disc ?
  2. Hi, I wonder if anyone has found a solution to remove/change the 2 second gap that appears between the tracks recorded with SonicStage. It doesn't look like this is an option in the user interface of the program. It really should have been ! I think it's quite annoying with 2 seconds of (sudden) silence while listening to a live album that plays all the songs continuously. Does anyone have the knowledge of if/how this could be modified in the registry ? Jostein Windows XP Pro, SonicStage 4.3, Sony MZ-RH1
  3. I sent in a price quote for the Onkyo MD-133(S) unit on www.pricejapan.com 3 weeks ago, but haven't had any reply so far .... Guess I'll have to contact AudioCubes to get one.
  4. I see. Would be interesting to know what happens if you should decide to downgrade. Many thanks for your reply :-)
  5. Hi, I am just about to buy the Onkyo MD-133 Hi-MD unit. Can anyone confirm if tracks that are titled with SonicStage version 3.4 is showing up correct in the MD-133 display ? Is this only a problem with SonicStage 4.0 ? I would be very grateful if anyone could clearify this.
