  1. Sounds strange to me ... but after all the readings I've dont the last hours I guess you're ringht. However - I read somewhere that if both PC's - and the Sony device - are "authorized" through the SS Connect, the songs should be playable on all three devices. That doestn't help me anyway since I'm located in Norway - and the Connect service is not opened up in our region of the world yet... So what I need, i guess, would be some Authorization tool to use on my local library and devices - so that I personally can make the neccessary authorizations Keep it up Sony - make friends ... *not* You just lost one more! Thing I'll return the device and opt for an Archos Gemini device instead... //EE
  2. As a new Sony/SonicStage user I'm struggeling to find working solution for my music collection. I converted some of my MP3 files to Atrac format - and transferred these to my NW-HD5. So far everything is working just fine. But - I then wanted some of these files back to my PC at the office - I connected the HD5 to the PC - fired up SS - and hoped to just copy some files back. This did not work at all. Message that the files are intended for another PC.... SS refuse to copy them to my work PC... HOW can I make this working? How can I make my converted music to work on both computers? I own the CD's and now I want to use the converted music on my home PC - my Sony device - and on my Work PC... Is this not possible without a "real" backup device and by using SS's backup/restore functions? Sony support in Norway can not help me with anything else than pointing me to Sony's website... woww... So - all hint/tips/tricks are welcome... please help.. //ER
