Why has Sony changed the CONNECT logo from the one with the 'C' to the one with rings linked together?, personally i preferred the 'C' logo...

I've been hearing alot about the CONNECT Player and would like to try it out for myself, I have SonicStage 3.4, but would like to try the CONNECT Player, I've realized that I can not download it officially from a Sony website unless I buy 2005 WALKMANS that it comes packaged with, but I remember seeing it on here to download ages ago, does anyone know where I might be able to download it?... Cheers.
