It is unfortunate that Sony dropped Atrac3 as it was and still is an excellent format. Since I am no longer recording my needs have changed, if my finances allowed it I would keep these units as they are excellent examples of engineering.

Hi guys, I have my small collection of various MD gear for sale. Since I have no feedback here please look at my eBay feedback for integrity. Up for sale are the following: Silver MZ-RH1 in immaculate condition with all original accessories including an unused RM-MC35ELK so in perfect condition. I also have the original box if desired. Silver MZ-E10 with stand, original remote and power supply. Excellent condition with no visible scratches or dents. The battery is also in good condition. RM-MC33EL (~$20AUD) wired remotes are also up for sale, compatible with most units. I also have 5 Hi-MDs, 55 74-80 minute MDs of which 5 are unopened and 5 are Gold and unopened. Most have the plastic case and a Case Logic MD wallet or two MD stands will be available free if desired. (Price depending on number) As a side note, I have a VAIO 40GB HDD player with stand and remote, and a D-NE9 MP3 CD player if anyone is interested. Any additional photos can be requested. If you want to open it, look for a service manual. But since it's a screenless unit it should be pretty easy to remove the panels. Just be careful of dust and such landing on the lense when open. After a through look there seems to be more units then I'd imagined, my mistake before was not looking at country specific eBays since they dont come up if you select worldwide and the seller hasnt specified they will post worldwide. Annoyed that I didnt put up an offer in time for the EH1 that was posted on the Audio-T boards, the seller was in Melbourne too. Can't even find an EH1 on Japan Yahoo auctions.

Thanks for the tip. Been out of the MD game for a while since only the NH1 was released in Aus. Disappointed I missed out on the EH1, importing off yahoo japan is a bit of a rip off, importing from the UK is a bit more managable (especially language wise) but the exchange rate isnt great. I'll see if I can get the faulty unit for a reasonable price, even though optical errors can be incredibly hard to fix.

Yeah, saw a couple on eBay USA but the sellers didnt want to ship to Aus. Nabbed a N10 which i'm happy with, but I'll keep an eye out for an E10.

How much is a MZ-N10 worth? Saw one for 80USD plus shipping, is that fair or too much? It includes the important accesories(USB cable, dock, remote, power adaptor, battery attachment), and from what i can tell, is in resonably good cosmetic condition. The seller assures me it's fully operational.

Thanks for the reply. Looking at yahoo japan, many of the the sellers dont ship internationally, is there a way around this?

How rare is this sevelt machine? Does anyone have any tips on where to get out of production gear apart from ebay? If anyone has a MZ-E10, or a MZ-EH1 and is willing to post to Australia, please PM.
