  1. I just recently got my Vaio Pocket. When I say recent, I mean about 2 months ago I guess. I have been using the wrap around the ear style headphones that came with my Clie, but I really don't like them that much. More of the way the "attach" to the ear I think. I ride the bus a lot and therefore stand/walk in the elements quite a bit. I try to avoid the bus during heavy downpours of course because that just plain sucks. I would like opinions on good "weather-resistant" headphone for under $50 that I could ask for from family for my B-day next month. I tend to keep my VP safe zipped in a jacket pocket or where ever I can so it stays dry, but the headphones will sometimes get "splashed" with rain or snow or whatever. Thank in advance for any information anyone is able to provide.
  2. I just got a Vaio Pocket off of Ebay for $219, WOOHOO!!! I hope to have it by the beginning of next week. Could someone please list the steps for upgrading the firmware once I get it? I want to make sure I have all the "latest" software and such on it before I start putting my music on it. Thanks in advance.
  3. I've read that the new SS3.2 will encode to a lot of new bitrates. Which bitrates does the Vaio Pocket support? Has anyone tested all of the new ones to see if they work?
  4. I found the following review with IPOD/VAIO POCKET size comparison if anyone else is interested. VAIO POCKET review
  5. Can anyone please post any size comparison pics of the pocket beside maybe a Rio Karma and/or IPOD?
  6. Thank you again Ishi for the prompt reply and the detail included in the reply. I believe I will most like end up with the Vaio Pocket then.
  7. Thanks so much for the prompt reply Ishi!! Now, since I know that you have both the Vaio Pocket and the Sony MZ-RH10, which do you find to be a better overall machine? I like the idea of the VP due to the larger color screen and larger capacity and they are both around the same price. Do you find any advantages of the RH10 over the VP for just music playing? Which one sounds better? etc.
  8. Hello, I am new to this forum and had a question. I am debating between 3 different digital audio devices. The Rio Karma, Sony MZ-RH10, and the Vaio Pocket. My main use is listening to music while riding the bus. My current Sharp MD-702 has started to skip on me as I carry it in my pocket walking to/from the bus stop. Has anyone had any trouble with the Vaio Pocket doing this? Thanks in advance for any/all information anyone is able to provide.
