Im a angry man now. Since the release of the SS4.0CP, i have downloaded the installer to install. Yet, while through the process, it just terminated. After that, i had to uninstall and going to regedit to delete all SS stuff. Then i tried installing again. Still no hope! I went on to install SS3.4[(online) i used online installer last time] and it came out with the same problem. So after more than alot of tries, i finally found out where it terminates during the process. Its always occurs when installing the Limited Patch, then it would show this message "Installation for SonicState 4.0 has been terminated. (2051, 20703)." I may think that the numbers at the end of the sentence is a hint as to what i should do to install but i cant think of it! Oh, i prefer to install using the online one as the offline installer doesnt give me an option to install where i want the file to be. Its like they always put in C:\Programe files\Sony. And also, now using the offline SS3.4, it cant read my disc no more, as in it said "Cannot use as audio disc as it is not initialised by SonicStage" or something like that. Darn im super fed up. What should i do!!? Can anybody englightment me, or at least give me anger management course?

My 888 was down a few hours ago too, there was a crackling noise like a small bean vibrating inside the left driver whenever the bass is thumping. I then operate on it an took out the driver, give it a blow job(yes i blew it real hard literally) and put everything back on. Now it works like the same, tho i still feel something is wrong(placebo effect maybe). Sorry to hijack your thread but im also looking for replacements real soon in case it dies one day. Am looking at the AT CK7 or Senns MX550 (or 500?) Please give some advice.

Haha, i bought my unit in Singapore. What do you mean by firmware and how do i locate the destination code and the service mode? By configuring the system itself? I currently have the controller from my previous D-NE900 which i can use but im not using any remote with my RH910...I did try tho and it still wont display chinese.

Is there anyway where i can make my unit display chinese?

Ok..think i got the ans..maybe..i found the thread a chinese guy posted here..about changing a regedit setting..UTOC4..to 3...and voila..it works...then came another disappointment..i didnt know my RH910 cant display chinese...

richyhu - Thanks, but i went to the middle tab and saw that it is already ticked, though the tick-box cant be altered (greyed). pata2001 - What do you mean by the registry region setting? Is is the area code in the regedit? In there, i did set it to 80000. Thanks alot to you guys, i really appreciate the trouble that you took to reply to my plea. But im still stuck in the situation. You mean choosing the language in AppLocale? I chose Chinese(PRC)

Hey there guys. Im from Singapore and currently using the RH910 and SS3.4(online installer) that was downloaded here. I had used the search engine and had found very similar posts to my problem - unable to upload songs with Chinese filenames or Chinese tags. But till now,even after reading all relevant posts im still unsuccessful in rectifying the problem. Before following the instructions given here, it was impossible to upload songs into SS. After installing and running AppLocale, changing the regedit thing and setting my language to Chinese(PRC) in the Advanced setting in the Region' n Lang' options(or should i change the lang under the Regional options rather than Advanced option?), SS can upload the song yet the album name shows blanks and song title shows ??? It wouldnt play as well. Can anyone enlighten me in my situation and show me the solution to my problem?
