  1. has moved to her new house (please be patient)

  2. Back to the top, this player has to go.
  3. Hum... Mainly because I don't feel it's practical anymore to have to carry many MDs around with me, and the difficulty I have experienced with Sony's music program. But I have to agree the the sound that comes from the NH1 is completely different from the one that comes from my Zune. The sound from the Zune is good, the one from the NH1 is excellent. Yeah, I'll probably end up keeping the NH1, but I have to let go of either it or the NH900. Whichever goes first I guess? But the NH900 is nowhere as sexy as the NH1. Mag-ne-si-um... Yum yum...
  4. aixporter bought a gold NH1 from me. The transaction was perfect: fast payment, nice communication, let me know when he received the player. I would highly recommend him!
  5. Yay! I'll leave feedback for you, please do the same for me. It is, right? I love it. I'm really thinking I will keep my NH1 and sell the NH900 instead. I can get less money for it, but it's sad to let go of such nice technology...
  6. I have a silver NH900 that I am not using here. I plan to keep only one minidisc player, either it or the silver NH1 that I have for sale in another thread. I'm pretty sure I have most if not all of the things that originally came with the NH900, and the player itself is in used, but very good condition (I always used a Case Logic neoprene pouch to carry it, I could include it in the sale if the buyer is interested). ***Please make me an offer, as I am not sure how much there are worth these days. I'm thinking of 150 USD. Also, check my MD sale thread, I have a few still left (cheap ordinary 74 min SONY MDs as much as stylish collection MDs). Thanks!
  7. Updated the thread by deleting the "SOLD" lots. Thanks!
  8. aixporter: It IS magnesium. It's wonderful, really. Edited, thanks! nrand: I did not get your email...?
  9. Thread updated to reflect lots still available.
  10. Here are the pictures of the gold NH1 and its things (at last!): Note: The player looks more golden in real life. It was night when I took the pictures and the camera flash washes out the color of the player. It's a nice, subtle, gold color. Not too classy, just enough.
  11. Syrius ~ I can't use the USPS website to calculate shipping, I'm in Canada (forgot to mention that... is that ok with you?). aixporter ~ As soon as I get access to it. *sweat* Two weeks to go... We have enough things for 2 houses in here. Ouch. We can't wait to have the house and finally have our own place!
  12. Hi! I am about to sell both of my remaining minidisc players, so I would like to see if anybody is interested in buying my minidiscs. I don't know how these are worth these days, so please make an offer if you are interested. Note: If the minidiscs are listed as a lot, I prefer not to split them. Thank you for understanding. I also have 2 quality minidisc storage units (each store 21 minidiscs) for sale. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ new unwrapped TDK "Bit club design" 4 minidiscs 25 USD used SONY 74 min color minidiscs 1 USD each (min 5 per person)
  13. Yes, the base is included and the player works great. For the shipping cost, I'll have to check on Monday with your postal code. Do you need insurance/tracking or will regular shipping be fine? I'll give you my paypal address when I give you the shipping cost in a private message.
  14. Here is the long awaited picture of the silver player. It is charging as we speak. If I remember correctly, it came with the charger, the player, the rechargeable battery, a 1 GO minidisc, the remote, cheap earphones (I have them somewhere, but can't find them at the moment), the program CD (I have to find that too) and the instructions. Please let me know if I'm missing something. I'll post pictures of the gold player as soon as we get enough boxes out of the room so I can have access to the 5' storage room door. *sweat* Moving is a pain... But I can't wait to be in my new house!
  15. Oups... I had such a crazy day that I completely forgot to take the pictures. I am moving to a new home soon (this is why I am selling some things I don't need anymore), so there are boxes everywhere. *phew* I'm sorry if you were in a hurry. I promise I will take some this week, most likely on Wednesday because I finish early that day.
  16. A440, I got busted too, but at a Radiohead concert in Montreal! Apparently, more and more people use this remote and they now recognize it pretty well (or maybe the mic shined in the light even if it was well hidden)... I was lucky enough that they let me "enjoy" (as much as I could, cause boy, that freaked me out!) the rest of the show and, especially, to return the recorder and mic to me. I was 3rd row on the floor, too close to the action I guess. Lots of security in front. I've attended concerts on balconies... barely any security there. Next time, I'll have very discrete in ear microphones - are any good? I currently use a Sony stereo mic (you know, the same T microphone they used to sell at Sony store?) and I love it. There probably are microphones much better than this one, I just don't know much about electronics. Help would be appreciated.
  17. Thank you! Right now, I'm trying to transfer MD to MD using headphone hole of source and mic jack of recorder. I think it will work with my 2 NH1, but when I try with my NH1 and my boyfriend NH900, there were "skips", very short, like little hiccups. Any idea why? I'm pretty sure it's not the disc, it was new... :/ I love MD when MD is easy! I guess that I still have a lot to learn even though I've been using it for 4 years...
  18. Title about says it. I recorded a live concert, we needed to remove a track mark, so my boyfriend said that to be safe we should upload it in SS before actually editing anything (i.e. combining tracks or adding track marks). That's what we did, but now the WAV of the show is 803 MO, that doesn't fit on a CD... And I can't add track marks, because when I try I have "NO EDIT" that flashes... What can I do to cut the show into songs? I usually do all the trackmarking before uploading, I hope I am not screwed? This is an important recording that I want to be able to listen to on a CD. Please, SIMPLE is the key, because I am not very good at this. I don't have any other program than SS, some people seem to use other programs to edit WAV made from openMG files, but I don't know if they would be too complicated or expensive for me. Thank you very much for your help!
  19. I suggest a price of 70$ + sh to your location. I think it's reasonnable considering it's hard to find these in such a good esthetic shape with all the original accessories and extra mds.
  20. I found all the original accessories. This is a really good deal, it's a sure value, trustworthy player/recorder.
  21. I've been holding onto that silver MZ-N707 net MD player up to now because it looks neat and classic... kind of like the MD player at the beginning of the Noir anime, you know? But now that I have 2 NH1, I feel it's absurd to keep this MD recorder just to look at it! ;p It's fully functionnal and still looks very good, because I take paranoid care of all my belongings. I used this unit for recording classes at the university, and let me tell you - this little guy is good! First time I heard a recording, I was speachless! The recording volume can automatically adjust to the volume of the source, so you'll hear everything... even if your teachers' mic stops functionning. You can easily buy a sony stereo mic off the web or in a sony store. I really recommend this unit to students who want to record classes or newcomers to the MD world that don't need the extended recording lenght of Hi-MD and who don't want to spend too much. I have paypal, so send me a PM if you are interested. Make a reasonnable offer and I will include 5 MDs so you can start recording MDs as soon as you receive the unit.
