  1. okay half way down the right side of the mz-r900 there is a small button that is pressed when the minidisc door closes, when it is released is signifies a disc change. I had to completly take off the lid and the disc loading mechanism to get at it. I then taped it down. I had one blank disc with a long track recorded. and two disc i wanted to recover. I swiched the discs. One gave me a disc error when i tried to play it. The other I am able to play. I am recording it to my HD right now, as I have not managed to get it to write the time code yet. But It will use the time code of the other disc. Wether I will ever vbe able to reassemble the disc man perfectly is questionable. Really I believe TOC recovery should be a built in function in the future. Its all kind of ridiculous this tinkering aboiut. Shawn
  2. Has anyone been able to bypass it? How does the disk detection work? shawn
