  1. Additionally I would recommend to convert files to Atrac3+. 64kbps is even smaller, if you are for space, and the quality is better in my opinion. Also SonicStage 4.3 doesn't really support 66kbps ATRAC3 conversion anymore. (as far as I know)
  2. Maybe artist links could be aquired from LastFM? Do you know how can I get my playback history from the DAT files? (I have an A3000)
  3. I have different experiments. I use an A3000, and my Sonicstage is empty. I mean there are no tracks in the library. But if I listen to a track a lot of times on my player, the rating IS changing when I connect it to my computer. Also Atrist Link enties are upgraded. The player in logging your music listening habits, that is how it can also create the "Favorite 100" playlist, and when you connect it to sonicstage, it will upgrade the rating, playlist from the log. Maybe Connect Player doesn't supported that function, but in SS 4 it works.
  4. Sorry, if I'm wrong, but all sony CD players with ATRAC support can also play MP3. As far as I know.

    NWA-3000 Questions

You have to use the supplied special USB cable, to connect the cradle to the PC. The other, standard mini USB is only for DC input.
  6. Sony CD Players can only play Atrac files, if you create the CD with SonicStage (or with other software, like Sony CD Simple Burner), because it has a specific file stucture. But there are some more restriction. An Atrac CD can only contain Atrac3 @ 132, 105, 66 and Atrac3+ @ 256, 64 and 48. But if you already have your music in MP3, there is no need to convert them to Atrac, especially not to higher bit rates (you won't get higher sound quality anyway), because all CD players capable of playing atrac is also capable of playing MP3 (at any bitrate, even VBR). In my opinion, the only case if converting can worth it is if you want to store a lot of tracks on a single disk, when you should use Atrac3+@64kbps.
  7. By accident, I found that from the Canadian Sony support page I can download addational screen savers to my NW-A3000. Is there any other places where I could get some more?
