  1. Hi, it's me again trying to get to know SonicStage. I have managed to change the location to store music. But is there a way to transfer the music currently on my C drive to my G drive (as the external drive is designated)? Is it a case of simply transferring a file of data? From reading other posts I imagine that it might not be as simple as that. When I set up the new location, the My Library window still shows with all the music I have stored on the C drive, but shows a free space appropriate to the G drive (i.e. 55 Gb free instead of 16 Gb on my C drive). But obviously it has not transferred all that music to the G drive (and Windows Explorer still shows the expected space of 16 Gb free on the C drive). What I would really like would be a My Library on the C drive and a My Library on the G drive and a simple drag and drop method of transferring the music between the two. Is that possible? There is probably about 11 Gb of music on the C drive at the moment. Many thanks for your help. I'm sure it's all great once it can be made to work! Don Lyon
  2. Great - thanks that's vry helpful. I hevn't had time to do it yet but it sounds logical...
  3. I have a question though regarding the SonicStage software. I have a load of music on my hard drive and I want to store this on an external hard drive rather than have it cluttering up my everyday computer space. Is there a way to simply pick up My Library and dump it on an external drive, and then import tracks to the PC as and when needed for transfer to other media such as MiniDisc? Even if I can't simply pick up and dump the Library on the external disc I was hoping I could install another copy of SonicStage there so that I could transfer between the libraries of the 2 versions, but when you install it it doesn't seem to give you any option as to where to install it. This doesn't seem like a big ask but I can't see how to do it. Am I just being stupid? Either way could some kindly member point me in the right direction? Many thanks Don Lyon
