Are you referring to the volume boost hack in the pinned threads? If so, wouldn't that just boost volume and not bass? EDIT:- Just tried hack, and bass is much bassier! Deffinitely an improvement! Not quite D-NE1's "Bass Boost" level, but it's certainly better than before! Thanks, and sorry about that! Although, do you think there will ever be a proper "Bass Boost"?

I'm aware of the EQ but it doesn't make it any where near as "Bass-y" as my old D-NE1. It's still tinny. Does this mean i am to assume there isn't a Bass Boost function?

Sorry if this has been discussed already, but does a "Bass Boost" function exist for the NW-A3000\/ If it does, I can't find it anywhere!?! I used to own the Sony "D-NE1" CD Walkman which had brilliant Bass Boost, and now that I've changed to the NW-A3000 it sounds really tinny in comparison! Thanks in advance.
