  1. That what you write seems to make sense... There's only one thing that confuses me: I used SonicStage for maybe one or two weeks before without any errors - and with the same mp3-files. But maybe you are right, anyway. So i'm gonna backup my database, convert some mp3's to wav's and try again. EDIT: You were fucking right, man! I did convert some of my mp3's into wma-lossless files (so i didn't loose my tags) and then imported them with sonicstage and i had no errors at all. of course, i had to convert them to atrac3 files after that, and i guess i lost some quality, but at least it works now, without any more errors... i love you
  2. sounds quite good - but what was your exact problem with SonicStage? if it was only importing them, then this will not help me - my SS3.4 just crashes anytime. sometimes when i start it, sometimes when i open the options window, sometimes when i transfer files and sometimes when i want to import files - But it is always the same error, omgjbox.exe + msvcrt.dll <- i have googled this, but there was no solution anywhere...
  3. Same Problem here - and I did downgrade the drivers, but it didn't help. If you get the error message, try and check if it says, that it confilcted in module (or something like that, i don't have an english windows) "msvcrt.dll" - then we do have the same problem. by the way, I use a geforce 6800LE as well. U could try some of the solutions suggested here http://forums.minidisc.org/index.php?showtopic=13637 but if we do have the same problem than it won't help you...
  4. there's another thread that contains some answers to this, but there is no final solution yet: http://forums.minidisc.org/index.php?showtopic=13637
  5. Same for me - whenever I try to import new files into my library SonicStage (version 3.4) crashes. I've already tried all the other solutions (downgrade drivers, re-installing...) but they didm't work. Somewhere else I read about Programs like StyleXP causing Errors so I switched back to original Windows style, but that didn't solve the problem neither. I don't know, if it happens with certain files, because I just try to scan my Musicfolder and it contains about 3000 mp3's - i don't wanna check them all I got the same error about omgjbox.exe and the msvcrt.dll <- it is in C:\Windows\system32\ and it did replace it, just in case it was broken or something, but that didn't do anything new... EDIT: I did another search for msvcrt.dll now and found 16 files. But none of them is in any Sony or SonicStage or whatever folder, so i guess it is the system23 file - well, not causing the problem, but being part of the problem. I'd really like some help...
