Hello?

Hello everybody! Today I got my MJ-D707 Recorder, bought on ebay! When I try to record sth, the device sometimes displays "Memory Full". The manual does not help, there is only information about "Disc Full". Also, the message "Defect" which is standing for scratches on the disc (which it does not have) appears. What may I do wrong? Wrong Discs (Using Sony)? It's my firt MD-Deck and I was looking forward to using it, but now I'm frustrated Thx! emo
