Everyone on this forum seems happy with their new RH1 - so i was wondering: Does anyone know how successful the RH1 has been world wide? Are Sony happy? Cheers Andrew

Thanks - I guessed as much and dug out the charger yesterday for a recharge - and so will see what happens!

I went recording with my new RH1 and inspite of trying to minimise the non-recording use of the machine, I ran out of juice after only about one a half 1 GB discs. So was my battery playing up - I was charging it up from the computer, not the seperate charger so maybe this made a difference. Or is Sony's 6 hrs just wildly optimistic? A spare battery from my local sony centre was £40! Small Battery Co on the net will now supply for £20. Anyone else got a cheaper source or a good way of charging it up in the field?
