Thanks for all the info people, now I will be using my NH700 a lot more. The hack worked well for me, though it was a bit tricky I now have better sound. I've only done a NW-A3000 before and that was easy compared to this one, I've seen on other threads that there are more options in service mode for the NH700 and I will be giving them a try soon, Cheers all

Hey thanks a lot, I've got it back, tried that file that needs unzipping yesterday but I must of done something wrong. Got it sorted now, and fingers crossed all will be fine. THANKS AGAIN.

I lost my simple burner due to a virus. and I downloaded sonic stage 4 CP direct from sony, I previously had 3.4, now I've lost my simple burner. I still have a CDROM with sonic stage 2.0 and simple burner on but it does not give the option of just installing the simple burner. Must I first unistall s.s 4.0 CP, install the old cdrom and then update to s.s 4.0, or is there a easy download link for MD simple burner, as you know there does not seem to be one on any sony sites. Hope it's not a silly question but as with a lot of people I've had troubles in the past with sonic stage and I don't want to do anything to mess up s.s as it seems to be ok at the moment. Thanks for a good site and to anyone that can help.
