I bought the RH-910 about a year ago , havent used it much, but it never spat the disc out like my older MD players - i have to shake it out. Im guessing this is a malfunction, but id like some comfirmation from other owners.
I need a mic that is battery opperated but can capture very high quality sound. I want the best sound possible for a guitar and vocal onto one mic. Lets say money is no option (even though it is) . Im trying to get the perfect portable setup for when i travel. Currently i use 2 mics with an M audio microtrack (AT4040 for vox and a C1000s for git) but i still love my minidisc and its versatility and want to get a mic that can do the job without wall sockets etc so i can travel and record with no hassles.
I can not think of a good reason for making the new MD players (bar 1) not Mac compatible. This format is almost a dinosaur ( i love it) and so you would think that they would want anyone and everyone using it when and wherever they wanted to. Is it maybe that Mac is Sony resistant?
Quote:"5) RH910 can charge only through the AC adaptor. There's some sort of 'almost charge' facility when connected to a computer via USB. THe RH1 charges perfectly both through the AC adaptor and when connected via USB cable to a computer. In fact, even the wall adaptor ends in a USB plug which plugs into the USB port of the unit." My RH910 recharges when hooked up to my Mac! I was surprised but it does.
