Thank you all for your advice, I ordered a new one and will try it!

I think my MZR55 battery is just too old and needs to be replaced. If someone can give some advice I would greatly appreciate it. After "fully charged" it dies after 10 seconds of recording, it plays back for much longer but soon dies as well. Could it be the battery is just too old, or is there a problem with the charger, or mini disc? Is this common for the battery to rear out completley? Thanks, Laraine
