Thanks for your help everyone. I was finally able to record from my MD to Audacity; however, there's a hissing noise in the background that wasn't there when the audio was played on the MD. I guess that's another problem I'll have to tackle.

Hello there, I browsed around trying to figure out how to transfer audio from my minidisc player to my laptop. So far I know this can only be done by recording it in real time to an audio program. I downloaded Audacity, but I don't know how to record from a MD player to Audacity. Can anyone help? I used to have access to radio studios which made life so easy, but now I'm struggling with how to do this from home. Thanks in advance for your help! Kristine
