  1. I dont exactly know where i should post this. This seemed to be the apt place but it may not be in which case, please forgive me The story starts off when one day i copy some music onto my Sony NW-A608 using Connect. Just to try it out, i disconnect and listen to the songs for about 5 mins. Then i realised there was another album that i wanted to copy and this time around, when i attatched my mp3 player, windows just isnt recognising it It recharges perfectly fine but it just wont detect my player. I thought i must have some corrupted drivers so i tried reinstalling connect, uninstalling and then reinstalling it as welll but nothing works. Its been a week now. I couldnt see any drivers so to say for my model. Its not a problem with the chord or the device. I took my player to my friends place and connected it there and it showed me the "Removable Drive" perfectly. Its just on my pc that it doesnt work Any suggestions anyone? Edit: Here is the info related info. Im on Windows Xp SP2 using NW-A608 (as mentioned) with the latest Connect version (1.0.4 i think. Im sure its the latest cause i checked after i reinstalled ) and my last update for SonicStage was about 1.5 months back but i havent used it since the problem occured. I dont see how the SonicStage version is relavent so ill just leave it out Windows isnt detecting it so im guessing its a driver problem or something 8-) Thats the reason why i reinstalled it
