The drive I had was a data drive, but an external would be OK as Greenmachine asks... What's a good unit, bearing in mind I would not use it to listen to music via headphones - I know its all the fashion now: but hey, stuff the fashion. I have MD's in my cars and it would be great if I could edit some disc's, plus use it with the PC for backup's, etc, etc. Is there a relative cheap unit, which has external power supply ( or via USB) and reconized by windows XP? thanks, peter

Can any one tell me where I could get a MD drive unit for my PC? I had one some years ago back in Australia, but that was some 7/8 years ago. I live on the Isle of Man, near UK. Any idea's? Peter
