hmmm, Was it a new disc? If so then it would suggest that it is a defective disc and the MD was unable to write data onto the defective part's of the disc! Hence the skipping :ohmy:

But, if it was a disc that you've used before and know is good then try getting a MD len's cleaner.

Did you say they were live recording's? Be careful not to jump around or jog the player during recording as this also could be the cause of your troubles!
