Raify
I've just about reached the end of my tether! CDDB will not work at all with Sonicstage 2.0. I've followed the FAQ's and uninstalled everything Soncistage related, re-installed and still no joy. Does anyone have any ideas about how to fix this? atrain
it works for me to do it yourself try pressing ctrl + I when connected to the internet. also you should update to ss 2.1/2.2 via either www.connect-europe.com or www.connect.com location dependant if this dosen't solve it got to tools -> options -> get cd info -> cddb register for cddb click detailed cd info make sure you have the proxy settings sutible for you [trial & error]
Raify
I said SS 2.0 out of habit. I downloaded it only last night from connect website, so it must be the latest version I have (whatever number that is) I've tried playing with the proxy settings (tried all three) with no success. Unless anyone knows what server adress I can specify? Pleeeeease someone help, or I'm going to give up and get an iPod....
Qwakrz
I lost CBBD after I installed my Creative Labs sound card. I installed the media centre with it & after that point CBBD crashed or just closed every time I started it, uninstalled CLMC and it worked again. Check for other CBBD programs and try and uninstall if you can. (BTW that is the only one that caused it to fail, I have other CBBD programs but they seem to work ok together)
