Syrius
Hi all. I'm curious about one thing. You see, with use, my Sharp SR-60's laser block fell out of alignment, and I had to resort to entering service mode to have the player auto calibrate it. I'm worried that my Sony players may do the same one day, but when it comes to service mode and hacking, I only find options for the Sony MZR-XXXX series. Does anybody have any info? I don't want to hack my players, just make sure the head is aligned, because today when walking back from work, my player skipped twice, the music stopped completely, and it was until I held the belt pouch with my hand that the sound came back, exactly where it left off ( :wacky: ), and these were the same symptoms my Sharp exhibited when it died, and I had to bring it back to life. (Works ok now, but 10 secs antishock doesn't cut it.) Info is appreciated. Thanks.
