Seroka2
Maybe somebody knows the answer to this . . . I have all of my music in Sonicstage recorded to ATRAC3plus HI-SP. If I want to record it to my HI-MD on ATRAC3 132, will it resample the HI-SP file? In other words . . . will i get worse quality by converting HI-SP to ATRAC3 132 than if I rerecord from CD directly to ATRAC3 132 in Sonicstage and then transfer it to my HI-MD. Thanks for your help. Thanks for your help.In SonicStage, go to "My Library". Right-click on a song... select "Properties->File Info". If you see the original, pre-ATRAC audio file there (WAV, MP3, etc.), SS should re-sample that everytime it converts to a new ATRAC format. If only the Hi-SP ATRAC3 file is there, then SS will resample that instead, when going to ATRAC 132.
thepootleflump
If converting from an Atrac3+ rip I wouldn't have thought the degredation would be significant since the hi-sp track is of a higher quality than than the Atrac3 132 track.
